Saga Antiques

Saga Antiques was established over 26 years ago by Kjeld and Jean Nielsen.
We have been collecting and selling our fine antique pine furniture on the San
Francisco Peninsula ever since. We import primarily from the Scandinavian
countries but also find English, Austrian and eastern European furniture that we
like. Most of our inventory is from the 19th and early 20th century.

We are always happy when we discover pieces with their original paint in good
condition and we lovingly restore them to maintain there authenticity. However, most
antique pine has been repainted many times during its lifetime and these pieces are
carefully stripped and bees waxed to a beautiful golden patina. All our furniture is
fully restored in our own workshop and ready to become your family
heirlooms.

Because the Bay Area is a destination for people the world over we have both local
customers and those from far away. We offer delivery within the immediate
area and are happy to facilitate shipping to other regions.

We have an extensive inventory ready to go as well as 'works in progress'. We are
also very successful at locating specific pieces for our customers.
